Every community needs a gathering place. For Greater Philadelphia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, that place is Quorum. Designed as a “clubhouse” for innovation, this dynamic high-tech gathering space stimulates creative collaboration among scientists, entrepreneurs, and funders. The design maximizes flexibility and transparency using moveable glass partitions, glass “garage” doors, and hinged partitions to facilitate a variety of configurations for groups as few as four people and as many as 200. Taking its cues from “edgy urban loft space,” the Quorum features interactive plug-in conferencing, digital library resources and audio visual systems to provide networking, professional development and entrepreneurial opportunities.
