A sizzling hot spot for Sichuan and Taiwanese cuisine

Dan Dan, an authentic Sichuan and Taiwanese culinary haven nestled in Philadelphia’s vibrant Rittenhouse Row district, epitomizes our commitment to crafting spaces that evoke meaningful experiences.

Within its 2,200 sq. ft. space, a thoughtfully designed mezzanine on the first floor expands seating, offering patrons a captivating view of the double-height bar area. Our multi-disciplinary approach, blending architecture, interior design and graphic design seamlessly converges in this transformational project. Contemporary and natural materials harmonize in the dining areas, with subtle tributes to Taiwanese culture evident in bespoke light fixtures and graphics. The fusion of natural wood, sleek concrete counters, subway tiles, and ambient LED lamps collectively enrich the atmosphere, contributing to the allure of this exciting addition to Center City’s dynamic dining scene.

DanDan Rittenhouse is about opportunity. Formerly home to a drab copy shop, the retail space sat vacant for years awaiting a new tenant. When DanDan was looking for a place to call home, Strada determined we could increase the square footage by inserting a mezzanine into the space with mere inches to spare. The result is one of Center City Philadelphia's most successful restaurants, spawning a successful business enterprise that would spread with multiple locations throughout the region.
