DEI
We are committed to creating a diverse firm where all team members have a shared sense of belonging and the resources they need to be successful.
Through open-mindedness to learn from others, we strive to listen empathetically to those whose perspective is different from ours. We celebrate the uniqueness of each person, their background and individual experiences, their knowledge and creativity, and their talents and self-expression. This shapes our culture and enriches our design of the built environment for all. As teammates and business partners we treat everyone with dignity and respect.
We believe equity and inclusion are core to our success as critical problem solvers and intentional designers. Strada is committed to creating inclusive and welcoming spaces, designed for and with people in mind.
We don’t just build teams; we curate them intentionally, ensuring a rich blend of diverse credentials and perspectives.
We are committed to creating a diverse firm where all team members have a shared sense of belonging and the resources they need to be successful.
We are aware that our profession and allied professions are underrepresented with diverse talent.
We acknowledge this industry-wide issue and have committed to several mentoring initiatives at the high school level for underrepresented students–such as NOMA’s Project Pipeline, Hampton University Architecture Department’s Mentorship Program, Design Philadelphia’s Design Education program, and ACE Mentorships – for students who have an interest in our profession.
We are supporters and participants of the National Organization of Minority Architects and Carnegie Mellon University’s UDream program. We extend our recruiting efforts to these programs as well as HBCUs.
