Strada is pleased to announce that the renovation of the 912 Fort Duquesne Boulevard office building received the Best Renovation Award from NAIOP Pittsburgh on March 5, 2015. The award celebrates excellence in development and innovation, and recognizes contributions to the region’s economic vitality.
912 Fort Duquesne Boulevard is a 10-story, 132,366-SF Class A office building located in Pittsburgh’s central business district. Strada worked with the Elmhurst Group to renovate the building’s public spaces, including the atrium, entry and terrace, dramatically enhancing its appearance and contributing directly to the successful leasing of the tenant spaces.
In addition, Walnut Capital Partners, a longstanding client of Strada, was named Developer of the Year by NAIOP Pittsburgh. As the planner, urban designer, architect and landscape architect for Walnut Capital, Strada developed the Master Plan and designed the first three phases of Bakery Square 2.0. This nationally-recognized mixed-use development is contributing significantly to the transformation of the East Liberty neighborhood into a vibrant work-live-play community.
