An energized new space for athletes to meet up, fill up, and hang out
This renovation, located within the Weiss Pavilion extension of legendary Franklin Field, is small but mighty.
This 2,225 sq. ft. fit-out is home to Quaker Fuel, the new destination for Penn athletes in need of a recharge. The project combines a sleek aesthetic that is respectful of the site’s heritage while bringing the energy that the fast-paced life of a college athlete demands. With creative nods to the architecture of the stadium and custom graphic touches that connect with various sports, the finished space offers a home base to all campus athletes and serves as a gathering space for Penn Athletics events.
Strada worked closely with Penn to refine the vision for this fueling station, conducting a programming questionnaire with stakeholders to kick things off. The design team developed a model and 3D walkthrough and renderings to further assist with bringing the vision to life. Strada’s graphics team developed concepts for various graphics throughout, landing on a balanced mix of old and new, classic and fresh – complimented by a signage package that delivers. Hurrah! Hurrah!
