Setting a new standard for dynamism and creativity
At the ground floor of 20 Stanwix in downtown Pittsburgh, two lively, interrelated spaces provide flexible meeting areas, management offices, and a fitness center for building tenants.
This renovation was an opportunity for the building owner to activate a previously vacant floor. Strada worked with the project team to design 7,200 sq. ft. of unique amenity space, pushing beyond the expected to attract both current and future tenants to this Class A office building. An inviting “flexible workspace” complete with plush soft seating and fireplace forms the social core, benefiting not only tenants but also the staff who work in the management offices daily. A large conference room with mobile furniture can be configured for lectures or meetings, while booths and barheight tables nearby allow smaller groups to convene and connect.
A fitness center rounds out the amenities with cardio machines, a yoga room, and a game area. Throughout these spaces, eye-catching textures, bold primary hues, locally-themed artwork, and sculptural light fixtures draw people into this highly engaging floor of the building.
