George Poulin

A consummate professional, George savors the process of working through complex design challenges and detailing architectural projects. That the industry is constantly evolving, bringing something new every day, is a source of excitement and inspiration. His resulting designs are thoughtfully considered and meticulously crafted.

As a Project Manager, George leads staff and consultants through the design process and maintains day-to-day project coordination and communication and is also responsible for architectural design and detailing. He has worked on a variety of architectural projects for educational and corporate institutions, and has developed extensive knowledge of science and technology-related projects for both the academic and private sectors. These include Nesbitt Hall, Drexel University’s School of Public Health, the interior architecture of Adaptimmune’s new U.S. research and manufacturing facility, and Eli Lilly’s AVID Radiopharmaceuticals Group headquarters. George has also designed numerous research, lab and incubator spaces at uCity Square, formerly known as the University City Science Center. He also enjoys the challenge of making complex programs work within existing historic structures, such as the recently opened DanDan Restaurant near Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

George’s overlapping interests in architecture and urban design are evident by his active involvement in the Powelton Village Civic Association as Past President and Zoning Committee Chair. Any ounce of free time finds him hard at work restoring his Powelton home and garden.
