I lent my expertise to a tiny home project in Memphis, empowering a small community of women and gender non-conforming individuals who were formerly unhoused or housing-insecure to become homeowners. My goal is to scale up such initiatives, de-alienating architecture and fostering societal connections through innovative public and private structures, potentially extending to space-based designs. I also completed a construction trades cohort with Non-traditional Employment for Women (NEW) in New York, which deepened my understanding of accessibility issues. Driven by global perspectives, I collaborate internationally with local architects, builders, and coders such as my travels to 1470s castle in Elmina, Ghana. Outside of work, meaningful experiences include immersing myself in the vibrant energy of neighborhood block parties, reveling in the atmosphere of music, food, and community.
