Key Team Elevations to Foster Future Growth and Innovation

At Strada, the heart of our practice is to Design With People in Mind®. This philosophy doesn’t just apply to the spaces we create but also to the way we nurture and develop our team. Recently, we’ve had the exciting opportunity to recognize the talents and contributions of seven remarkable Stradistas, each of whom has stepped into a new leadership role within our firm.

Leadership Across Studios
In our Chapel Hill studio, Murray Kamara has been elevated to Senior Designer. Murray’s flair for blending cultural elements with design has been instrumental in crafting spaces that not only meet client needs but also enrich the community spirit.

In Philadelphia, Angela Kent has been elevated to Associate. Angela’s sophisticated design sensibility and ability to weave compelling narratives into her projects significantly enhance our project delivery. Also in Philadelphia, Anh Pham has been elevated to 3D Visualization Specialist. Anh’s exceptional skill in digital storytelling brings our designs to life, offering clients and collaborators a vivid glimpse into the potential of their projects.

In our Pittsburgh studio, we celebrated the elevations of four dedicated team members. Grace Ding, known for her innovative approach to design that marries functionality with aesthetics, has been named an Associate. Kate Zakowski, now a Senior Landscape Architect, continues to tackle complex site challenges with a keen focus on sustainability. Kevin Sommers has been elevated to Senior Architect, bringing his detailed craftsmanship and a blend of traditional and modern techniques to the forefront of our architectural projects. Nicole Harkins has been elevated to Senior Designer. Recognized for her great design sensibility and technological expertise, Nicole plays a pivotal role in advancing our BIM capabilities, ensuring that our designs are both innovative and precise.

A Commitment to Innovation and Diversity
These elevations are a reflection of Strada’s commitment to advancing our practice through diverse talents and unique perspectives. “By fostering leadership within our team, we not only enhance our capabilities but also ensure that Strada remains at the forefront of design innovation,” remarked Al Cuteri, Strada’s Founding Principal.

Tom Price, another Strada Principal, emphasizes the importance of our evolving team dynamics: “As we continue to build our team intentionally, we make sure to include the expertise necessary to take us into the future. Our diversity is our strength, fueling our creativity and enabling us to develop engaging, thoughtful solutions that resonate with the communities we serve.”

Looking Forward
As Strada continues to evolve, our focus remains on creating extraordinary places for people. The recent elevations within our team underscore our ongoing journey of professional development and excellence in design. We look forward to the fresh perspectives and innovative solutions that Angela, Anh, Grace, Kate, Kevin, Murray, and Nicole will bring to their new roles.

We’re excited about the future and the opportunities to further our mission of designing thoughtful, engaging spaces in the vibrant communities we have the privilege to serve.
