unveiling the story of the bell

Each year, over a million people visit the Liberty Bell, which has evolved from a utilitarian object into a national icon and more recently, into an international symbol of freedom.

The National Park Service retained the services of Strada/ UJMN to design the exhibits for the new Liberty Bell Center. The exhibits offer the visitor expanded interpretation that addresses three major themes: Pennsylvania’s State House Bell, America’s Liberty Bell, and the World’s Symbol of Freedom. Befitting of the national treasure, the exhibits incorporate glass, stone, stainless steel, and porcelain enamel that reflect a sense of permanence, durability, and quality while seamlessly integrating the exhibits with the building architecture.
